Exercise Three Days a Week

What if you treated a date like you treated your body. Would the date end with a good night kiss or a nice punch to the kisser? It is with that thought in mind that this health challenge of exercising came to be.

Most of us (except for those choice few who have this healthy habit down) struggle with exercising on a regular basis (regular being at least three days a week). There are always other things in life we could and usually end up doing instead of working out; whether it is working, taking care of family, school work, taking care of others, or catching the next best TV program. The result is the same, exercise is put on the back burner and the chances are raised that we will end up with a good night punch instead of a good night kiss.

So, this month the challenge is to work out, exercise, get the body moving at least three days a week. How long you go, what you do, or when you do it is up to you only you know where your physical health is at this time. Know that you don’t have to work out for an hour if you only have 15 minutes, do what you can, just get your body moving. Click here to get a handout of Dr. Carr’s three favorite ways to work out.

Let me know about your progress, your struggles, or the new exercises you have discovered over the course of the month. Good luck!!

One last thing, send me your feedback, leave a comment on this page, let me know you are joining us, let us know how things are going for you. If you keep us posted we will put your name in a drawing for a free canister of Live by Nuriche. The drawing will be held between the 1st and 5th of October.

I loved this challenge because it is something I already do, but committing to the challenge gave me greater incentive to be good, especially as the days are getting shorter and colder. I went to see the Body Worlds exhibit a few months ago when it was touring through SLC, and one of the things that left a HUGE impression on me was that no matter what amount of exercise you do it will provide really significant benefits to your life and well-being. You may not see it or feel it, but it was so clearly illustrated by the organs in the exhibit that the health benefits are real. So I would just encourage anyone who is struggling to get out 3x a week to just do it. Even 15 minutes makes a bigger difference than you could ever realize.
