Celebrate Good Food

This month learn about all the good foods out there that nourish you body in the way it was designed to be nourished; and then start using these foods in your daily life. Take some time to share your favorite healthy recipes
with the others who participate in this challenge. You can send recipes to liz@carrchiro.com and then Liz will post those recipes on this blog. This will help others to eat healthy as they explore new and interesting ways to use the good foods in their life.

Liz's Favorite Salad Recipe

You will need the following vegetables:
Cabbage (pick the red cabbage to add color to the salad)
Carrots
Celery
Cucumber
Tomatoes
Broccoli
Cauliflower
The vegetables go a long way so you really don’t need a lot of each unless you are feeding a lot of people. You can really pick any of your favorite vegetables to go in this salad.
Chop vegetables to edible pieces and place in large bowl; toss ingredients.
Then you have a choice you can serve the salad as is though I like to add a little shredded Colby Jack cheese to my salad and serve with your favorite salad dressing.
You can also cook some vegetable pasta to add to the salad. This is my favorite way to eat it. Cook the pasta, drain, and then toss into the salad; add some cheese and serve with dressing. DELISH!!
This makes for an excellent meal or a side dish. Enjoy.
